Reducer spigot to spigot
A spigot-spigot reducer has a spigot at both ends: the part goes into a pipe or opening at each end. That is how you connect two openings that do not have the same size.
What it is
A spigot-spigot reducer is a round part with a spigot at both ends: one end goes into one pipe or opening, the other end into the other.
When you need it
You need this type when you want to connect two openings or pipe ends and the part has to go in at both ends itself.
- A dust hose onto the dust port of your saw or sander: the part goes into the hose at one end and into the port at the other
- Coupling two hoses with a different inside diameter
- Connecting an old opening in a drain or ventilation to a new opening of a different size
What you choose in the configurator
You enter the diameter for each end and choose the length of each connection. Both ends are set to spigot. Then you choose the material: PLA, PETG, PETG-CF or ABS.
We only say a part is suitable for pressure, drinking water, gas or heat once we have tested that ourselves.
How to measure
For each spigot, measure the inside of the opening the part goes into. Measure in millimetres and use a caliper if you have one.
