Reducer socket to socket
A socket-socket reducer has a socket at both ends: a pipe slides into the part at each end. That is how you connect two pipes that do not have the same diameter.
What it is
A socket-socket reducer is a round part with a socket at both ends: one pipe slides in at one end, the other pipe at the other end.
When you need it
You need this type when you want to join two pipes or hoses and both ends have to slide into the part.
- Two drain pipes of different diameter that you want to couple together
- A dust hose onto a pipe of your workshop extractor, where both ends go into the part
- A ventilation hose onto a ventilation pipe of a different diameter
What you choose in the configurator
You enter the diameter for each end and choose the length of each connection. Both ends are set to socket. Then you choose the material: PLA, PETG, PETG-CF or ABS.
We only say a part is suitable for pressure, drinking water, gas or heat once we have tested that ourselves.
How to measure
For each socket, measure the outside of the pipe that goes in. Measure in millimetres and use a caliper if you have one.
